Chakra Test: 7 Chakras Balance and Solfeggio Frequencies
Assess your 7 chakras as described by tradition: self-rating from 1 to 5 per chakra, harmony score in % and the associated Solfeggio tones.
7-chakra balance check: how the harmony score is calculated
The check adds up your 7 self-ratings (1 to 5) and divides by the maximum of 35 points: score = total ÷ 35 × 100. With the default ratings, 27 points give 77%. It is a reflective exercise drawn from yoga traditions and has no medical value.
The calculation
For each of the 7 chakras (Muladhara, Svadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna, Sahasrara) you set a slider from 1 (weak) to 5 (thriving). The tool computes:
- Overall harmony (%) = sum of the 7 ratings ÷ 35 × 100, rounded to a whole number;
- the “harmony” message from 75% upwards, otherwise “rebalancing”;
- the chakra “to harmonise”: the lowest rating;
- the “strong” centre: the highest rating.
In a tie the tool keeps the first chakra in root-to-crown order.
Example
Default ratings: root 4, sacral 3, solar plexus 5, heart 4, throat 2, third eye 4, crown 5. Total 27, so 27 ÷ 35 = 77%, above the 75% threshold. The throat chakra (2) is flagged, with its associated 741 Hz frequency; the solar plexus, the first chakra rated 5, shows as the strong centre (mantra RAM).
Frequencies and mantras
Each chakra comes with a colour, a location, a mantra (LAM, VAM, RAM, YAM, HAM, OM, silence) and a so-called Solfeggio frequency: 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz. This mapping comes from contemporary wellness culture and differs between authors.
Limits
The score only reflects how you feel when you take the test; it measures nothing in the body. No scientific study has validated chakras or any health effect of Solfeggio frequencies. For lasting fatigue, pain or distress, see a health professional.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the chakra harmony percentage calculated?
The tool adds your 7 ratings from 1 to 5 and divides by 35, the maximum total. 27 points give 77%. At 75% or more the message shows good harmony, below that a need for rebalancing.
Which frequency goes with each chakra?
The tool uses the so-called Solfeggio series: 396 Hz for root, 417 Hz for sacral, 528 Hz for solar plexus, 639 Hz for heart, 741 Hz for throat, 852 Hz for third eye and 963 Hz for crown. These pairings differ between authors.
What does “chakra to harmonise” mean?
It is the chakra you gave the lowest rating. If several are tied, the tool picks the first one in root-to-crown order.
Does this test have any scientific or medical value?
No. The score summarises your own answers and measures nothing in the body. Neither the existence of chakras nor any effect of Solfeggio frequencies has been scientifically demonstrated.
