TikTok Shop Affiliate & Creator Showcase Earnings Calculator

Estimate monthly affiliate commissions from the TikTok yellow cart based on CTR, conversion rates, and gross merchandise value (GMV).

TikTok Shop affiliate commissions: from views to earnings

An affiliate creator's commission is views × click-through rate on the shopping cart × conversion rate × product price × commission rate set by the seller. TikTok calculates the commission on the amount paid minus refunds, at a rate the seller chooses between 1% and 80%. With the default values, a 250,000-view video earns about €1,546.

Tool formulas

  • Product clicks = views × click-through rate (rounded to a whole number).
  • Sales = clicks × product page conversion rate (rounded).
  • GMV per video = sales × unit price; commission per video = GMV × commission rate.
  • Equivalent RPM = commission ÷ views × 1,000.
  • Monthly totals = per-video values × number of videos published.

Example with the default values

250,000 views at a 3.5% click rate give 8,750 clicks; a 4.2% conversion rate gives 368 sales; at €28 a product that is €10,304 of sales (GMV). At a 15% commission the video earns €1,545.60, or €4.20 per item sold and an RPM of €6.18 per 1,000 views. Over 8 videos a month: 2,944 sales, €82,432 of GMV and €12,364.80 in commissions.

Assumptions and limits

  • Every video is assumed to get the same views and sales.
  • Cancellations and returns are not deducted, yet TikTok pays nothing on a cancelled or fully refunded order and reduces the commission after a partial refund.
  • The amount shown is gross: the creator's income tax and social charges still apply.
  • The 2.5% to 5% click rate shown under the field and the comparison with the Creator Rewards fund (€400 to €800 per million views) are unverified orders of magnitude.
  • The calculation follows the US Seller Center rules; check the exact base (shipping, taxes, discounts) in your country.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does TikTok Shop calculate an affiliate's commission?

According to the Seller Center, commission = (order revenue − refunds) × commission rate. An estimate appears when the buyer pays, and the final amount reflects any returns. A cancelled or fully refunded order earns nothing.

What commission rate can a TikTok Shop seller offer?

The seller sets the rate, per product or for the whole catalogue, between 1% and 80% according to the US Seller Center (article dated 16/07/2026). A rate agreed with a specific creator overrides the open rate. The tool defaults to 15%.

How much do 100,000 views earn in TikTok Shop affiliate sales?

With the tool's default assumptions (3.5% click rate, 4.2% conversion, €28 product, 15% commission), 100,000 views give 147 sales, €4,116 of sales and €617.40 in commission. The result depends mostly on the click rate and conversion, which differ for each video and product.

What does the RPM shown by the tool mean?

It is the commission per 1,000 views: €1,545.60 ÷ 250,000 views × 1,000 = €6.18 with the default values. It lets you compare affiliate income with the Creator Rewards payout, also expressed per 1,000 views. This RPM is gross, before tax and returns.
