Sensitivity Converter: CS2, Valorant, Apex and cm/360°
Accurately convert your mouse sensitivity between major FPS games (CS2, Valorant, Apex Legends, Overwatch) preserving muscle memory with cm/360°.
Converting mouse sensitivity between FPS games with cm/360°
Each game turns the camera by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count (the “yaw”): 0.022° in CS2, 0.07° in Valorant. To keep the same mouse distance per full turn, target sensitivity equals source sensitivity × source yaw / target yaw at the same DPI: 1.8 in CS2 becomes 0.566 in Valorant.
Formula
Counts per turn: 360 / (sensitivity × yaw). Distance in centimetres: counts / DPI × 2.54. Target sensitivity is the value that gives the same distance: (360 × 2.54) / (cm/360 × target yaw × target DPI). The eDPI shown is sensitivity × DPI.
Example
Sensitivity 1.8 in CS2 at 800 DPI: 1.8 × 0.022 = 0.0396° per count, 9,091 counts per 360°, 11.36 inches or 28.86 cm. To get 28.86 cm in Valorant at 800 DPI you need 0.566 (eDPI 453). In Overwatch 2 at 800 DPI the same motion is 6.00. At 1,600 DPI in Valorant the sensitivity halves to 0.283.
Yaw values used
CS2, Apex Legends and Team Fortress 2: 0.022°; Valorant: 0.07°; Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty: 0.0066°; Fortnite: 0.005555° per slider percentage point. The Rainbow Six Siege (0.00383) and Rust (0.011) values are indicative and unverified: check the result in game by measuring a full turn.
Aim style bands
Under 20 cm/360°: wrist aim; 20 to under 35 cm: hybrid; 35 to under 55 cm: arm aim; above that: very low sensitivity. These bands are the tool’s own guide, not a standard. Pro player presets change often and are only examples. The calculation ignores mouse acceleration, field of view and scoped sensitivity, which use their own game-specific multipliers.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert my CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?
At the same DPI, divide your CS2 sensitivity by 3.18 (the yaw ratio 0.07 / 0.022). A CS2 sensitivity of 1.8 becomes 0.566 in Valorant.
What does cm/360 mean?
It is the mouse distance needed for one full in-game turn, calculated from the game’s yaw, the sensitivity and the DPI; 1.8 in CS2 at 800 DPI gives 28.86 cm.
What happens if I change my DPI?
Distance depends on sensitivity × DPI. Doubling the DPI means halving the in-game sensitivity to keep the same cm/360.
What sensitivity suits a tactical shooter?
The tool treats 35 to 55 cm/360 as arm aim, the range it links to tactical shooters. It is a guide only: the right value is the one you aim with consistently.
